Privacy & Cookie Policy
Taxano is pre-launch and pre-incorporation. This policy describes how the founding team handles information collected through this website today, and will be superseded by a fuller policy once an operating entity is formed and the platform itself goes live.
Information we collect
Information you give us directly — when you use the contact or investor form: your name, phone number, email address, the scope of your inquiry, and whatever you write in the message field.
Information collected automatically — if you accept analytics cookies: approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, and referring site. We do not use this to identify you personally.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and route it to the right person on the founding team
- To understand how the site is used, so we can improve it
- To meet legal or regulatory obligations, where applicable
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising.
Third-party services
Contact and investor form submissions are handled by our own server and delivered directly to our inbox — they are not routed through a third-party form processor. We currently use one third-party service on this site:
- Google Analytics — provides aggregate, anonymized traffic and usage statistics, and only runs if you accept analytics cookies.
It operates under its own privacy policy, which governs how it separately handles data.
Data retention
We keep contact and investor form submissions for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of it, or until you ask us to delete it. Analytics data is retained according to the third-party provider's standard retention settings.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by writing to hello@taxano.com. As we formalize our operating entity and launch across our founding markets, we will publish jurisdiction-specific rights and mechanisms — for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the EU/UK GDPR where applicable, and equivalent frameworks in our other founding markets.
International transfers
Because our founding team and prospective clients sit across multiple countries, information you send us may be processed or stored outside the country you're writing from. We take reasonable steps to keep it secure regardless of where it's processed.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page as our operating footprint, tooling, or legal obligations change, and update the date at the top when we do. Material changes will be reflected here — there is no separate mailing list to notify.
